HELP!! Where do we start?!

I am a professional Celebrant who will offer you a choice of Ceremonies, Readings and Vows & supply all the resources to make your day a memorable one.  You will be assisted and guided all the way.

 

Can we write our own vows, and how do we put it all together?

Yes of course you can. Together we will put together your own personalised ceremony.

 

Do we have to fill out forms or do any paperwork for the Government?

Yes, I have all the legal documents required and will help you complete and submit them to the relevant authorities.  You will need your Birth Certificates and perhaps other documentation depending on your own personal circumstances.

 

What costs are involved when using a Civil Celebrant?

My personal experience is that most celebrants cost between $450 and $750 depending on the time, travel, situation and special requirements. My pricing is negotiated on individual enquiries and  would include our meetings, all legal requirements, personalised ceremony and final rehearsal for the big day!

 

Can we have candles in our ceremony?

Yes, I can offer you many choices of symbolism for your Ceremony.  Unity Candle, Rose, Celtic-Handfasting, and Wine Sharing, just to name a few of the possibilities available to you.  Have an idea of your own? Happy to discuss!

 

Who supplies the audio equipment?

In many cases the venue will supply the tables, chairs and an audio system.  For a more intimate wedding or beach ceremony we can discuss the use of sound equipment and suitable decorative pieces.

 

Do you have a selection of music available?

We will discuss your music selection within our personal meeting, but yes I will have a list of some commonly used music.  As your selection may be played in a public place, a license is necessary however most venues will have this license and equipment.
